Nepal Everest View Trek Photos

On the fourth day trekking from Jiri to Gokyo for Everest views, walking up to Lamjura La in the morning was enjoyable, with bright forest colours mixed with a fantastic view into the valley below. The sun had been out, but it clouded over entering the village.

Lamjura La is perched on a 3500 metres (10, 000 feet) peak, 2000 metres (6000 feet) above Kinja. After crossing the peak, adorned with Buddhist icons, the Taktor Khola valley led down to Junbesi. Here’s some photos:

  1. Nice pictures.. we trekked to Tengboche from Lukla and that was enough for us! I enjoy looking at other people’s photos as it was a memorable holiday for us.
If you’re interested, I made a daily video diary of our adventure.. you can see this here. Let me know what you think!

    1. Thanks, nice videos, and good trek. Brought back a few memories, as returned from Gokyo to Namche via Tengboche. Ama Dablam is the most beautiful mountain, and the trails and valley views there were very nice with the pine forests.
